    Default scabing on scars??

Jack is almost 6 months post op and has been in his helmet almost 5. The other day i noticed little orangeish/yellowish looking flakes on one of this scars... it came off really easy but looked a little pink underneath... i watched it really close and it was looking fine so i passed it off as a sweaty head that day, but yesterday it was back...

it's mostly on the tip end of his top scar, not all the way across... and yesterday wasn't as bad as it was the first time, but i've been looking for it a little closer, so it may not have been there as long...

Do you think his scar may be ooozing? have any of you seen this before? I think it's weird that it's so long after surgery... what do you guys think i should do? just keep an eye on it?

It sounds like what Fiona had....cradles cap on the scar....Fiona had it bad for almost 8 months....I would pick some off and the scar would be bright pink again. Get some cradles cap shampoo and it should clear it up.

That's exactly what I was going to say. Ian had the same thing (still comes and goes on a very small area of his incision scar.)

LOL! Yes, that's what Ian's looks like too... It looks great and then I really get a good look, see the scab and just have to pick it off...then I'm like...when the scar turns pinky/red AGAIN!
