    Default what about. . . .? ? ?

i was wondering about clothing for my little angel post surgery. it's getting chilly & i imagine that it'll be h3ll trying to get something over her head. any suggestions? we will be traveling back the weekend following her sugery (if all goes well of course) and i wasn't sure what to put her in. i want her to be as comfortable as possible & we do have plenty of outfits that zip or button up the front. any ideas, comments, etc would be appreciated!
    thank you!

I had Bradley in things that buttoned or zipped up the front for about two weeks post op I was so afraid to try and put anything over his head. I would reccomend sleepers or cozy outfits like that that have feet and just zip or snap up the front, for comfort and ease of dressing.

yeah we got zip ups and button ups. For boys I found that the brand Carters had a great selection for a good price. Sounds like your on the right track since you already have zip and button outfits. I think comfy clothes are the best.

Yup, snap ups or zip ups work great! Or shirts that have those expandable neck lines. Ian can wear pull over shirts now and we're just over a month out. Don't worry about clothes in the hospital. They are in diapers only up until the day you go home...

zip ups are great. BUT...I started putting Quintin in over-the-head clothes as soon as 5 days post-op. I just stretched the heck out of the collar. Try not to stress anout it too much!!

I really stocked up in snap-up bodysuits prior to BLake's surgery. But really, by about two weeks post-op, I started putting Blake in over the head shirts. So far, I've only put him in shirts witht he expandable necks (Carters) or other type shirts in which you can loosen the neck a little for extra room. Currently, I've been buying up henleys (collarless shirts with a couple of buttons at the top) for the cooler weather.

Oh, also, I hoodies are great too.. since Layla probably will need to keep her scar covered post-op. Blake does a lot better with keeping a hoody on than a hat.
