Did you watch TLC last night??
Did anyone watch the show "A new face for Marlie"??? That was amazing what they did for her. It about made me cry though when I saw her in ICU after surgery and hearing those familiar monitors beeping. It brought back memories that I thought I had gotten over.

Bifrontal/Biparietal CVR/FOA Feb 27th 08 for Bicoronal. (Fearon,Swift), Developmental Delays, Hearing Loss, Narrowed Brain Ventricles, Moderate Asthma, Acid Reflux & Migraines. ICP monitor April 27th with Dr. Swift - Has borderline ICP. Follow up with Swift 9-12-11, Again 3-7-12. surgery #2 in about a year... EEG done 1-17-12 for headaches.
Here is a link to some pictures of her. This is right off of Google so some of them aren't her. She is the Hatian teen. She had a large cyst on her face. It was a sad but good story last night.

I watched a bit of it. What a journey she'd been through...poor girl. It's is just amazing what Dr's can do these days. 20 years ago, and they probably wouldn't have been able to do much for her...
