Default Help! 6 days post op vomiting and fever

Micah is 6 days post op now and is still extremely fussy, has a cough, is vomiting at night and has a fever of 100.4. Is this normal??? I am hanging by a thread here.

It is most likely Micah picked up a virus of some kind at the hospital but you should call and speak to either Dr Fearon or Nurse Cindy if he's not available (usually he is in surgery in the am and into mid day but he can probably be reached in the afternoon). The fever is not terribly high which is good.... just keep a close watch on Micah and obviously if things get worse seek medical care with your ped or urgent clinic...

Hang in there momma and keep us posted....

Thanks so much. Dr Fearon said he shouldn't be vomiting or coughing, so we are going to his Pedi at 2 today. We will keep you posted.
