Default Spring assisted surgery for sagittal tomorrow..

My 5 month old son is having his springs put in tomorrow at Great Ormonds and the worry is starting to kick in! He had his pre check up last week, and just trying to get blood out of his tiny veins was a nightmare and he got really upset. I felt awful, holding him still while they tried both hands and feet with the needle :(

I know people say you'll be surprised at the speed of recovery but I'm worried about how much he's going to be hurting after the operation. Will he sleep a lot more than usual or less?

Will post after pictures when it's done to help others with their decision making as the ones I've seen have been really helpful in getting me to a decision.

    Good luck today!

As for your question about sleeping, it depends. My son's sleeping patterns didn't change, but I've seen others that have.
