Daughter has made it apparent she wants to use potty, but is holding it in. We opened diaper, gave her queing sound, she went. Nurses thoroughly impressed. She is still doing great. Few accidents, but that is understandable.

I am so glad to hear that you are able to keep what's familiar to your daughter during this difficult time! Wow! I have potty trained my 6 kids and from what experience I got and learned by trail and error, kids' personalities, etc. I can see how EC would definately work! Those little minds are amazing! It would be something to witness a 3 month old signaling. That's really cool! I wish I had tried EC with my babies.

What I mean by my experience is that I've found that a huge part of potty training success is based on the child being aware of their muscles, what it feels like to hold the pee and BMs and when to let it go. The other huge part to potty success is not liking what the dirty diaper feels like. Huge! My kids who did not like that feeling were easiest to teach. So, yes, EC is very interesting to me, looking back on my potty training years.

Does this mean you need to go for #7 so you can try EC

I do think the EC sounds neat.
