Default Recorded voice of older sibling and the baby book!

I just thought of two great ideas that I'll be packing. First I'm bringing my son's baby book, so that I can write in it, and stuff memorabilia from the hospital stay in it (his hair shavings, his ID bracelet when we take it off, etc.). Plus, before we go, I'm having my son's 4 year old sister record a message for him on my cell phone. We won't be allowing her to visit him the first day, because we think he'll be too scary looking for her. But, he would be really soothed by her voice, especially if his eyes are swollen. So, I'll just play him her recorded voice on my cell phone and hopefully that will bring him some comfort!

My husband did that. He told Priya to speak some words for Pooja and he recorded it on his iPod. Priya was aware of what Pooja was abut to endure. It was very cute and touching what Priya said. Everytime we played the recording for Pooja at the hospital, she would calm down (when she was crying) and listen, especially when her eyes were closed.

What a great idea! My daughter did a build-a-bear for my son with her voice recorded on it. Adam loved it. This time I was thinking it would be cool if she read a Hallmark book to him. It would be something he could keep forever.

Second surgery suggested to correct a bump on the head and fill in soft spots.
