    Yes! I have the same smiley issue! It is a little wrong when someone does the pray smiley for really bad news and instead you see a tongue sticking out.

    You won't be able to see them on forumrunner, but like italics and break, if you type in the commands, the smilies will show up in your post in regular view. For example, if you want to someones, you can type in : hugg without the spaces. HTH :)

    So I ran across 2 other things with the iphone app.....If you are reading a thread and press on someone's post, it pops up in it's own window and then you can view all the smileys. Weird. I also realized that you can view the blogs in the app. Hopefully that will be included in an upgrade.
