I am so sorry. It hurts quite a bit. We got the all clear from the neuro over a month ago.. but i am seeing a narrowing and a pinching with adrian. I want to deny it. I wish i could. its been in the last 2 weeks. and adrian is rubbing his eyes and the back of his head so much..and sometimes i catch him staring into space...

I am so scared. i dont know what to think. I just dont know..

I'm sorry you are still having concerns. Did the NS complete a ct? I can't remember? I just checked out your son's pictures again and he looked good.

If you are seeing a change, post updated pics. It might be worth getting a second opinion to ease your mind. Even if it is just our opinions. If you think changes are happening, I would get a second opinion from a Dr too.

Second surgery suggested to correct a bump on the head and fill in soft spots.

From my experience (daughter is mild metopic/sagittal), the head can change a lot during growth spurts (eg. 10-12 months of age). I got really worried around 10 months too, but the changes really slowed down at 12 months.
Keep an eye on it and keep taking pictures.
Maybe you can send some new pictures to the dr.
Getting a second opinion is always a good idea, too.

If you are seeing changes that are worrying you, can you give the neuro a call and maybe send some new pictures or arrange to go and see him again? The CT showed that the metopic is closed but other sutures all open and you are wait and see right?

Also, do post more pics on here if you can. Maybe some side by side ones? I know many of us who are wait and see have posted updated pictures over time as we have been concerned about changes we are seeing or need an objective opinion of how our kiddos' heads look.

Don't feel bad if you need time away from here sometimes. I think most of us have had times when we have needed to take a break
Wait and see is such a relief when you first get the news and so wonderful not to have to go through surgery but it can also drive you nuts with constantly watching and analysing for any changes and never quite feeling like you are totally in the clear. We are here for you and we understand

Its tough and we all need breaks once in a while. 10 months was a challenging time for me. So much so that my issues with my daughters head caused problems in my marriage. When my daughter was 11 months old I flew her to Texas to see Dr Fearon and only then did my wait and see fears subside. Hugs momma hang in there and we are here for you.
