    Default bleeding from incision site

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced some bleeding from the incision site probably due to the baby scratching. I noticed today that Joey had some dried blood running from the scar and it looks somewhat "raw" there. we go see our PS on tuesday and I don't know if I should wait until then or call someone sooner. It is not bleeding profusely but still I'm not sure what to do.

    Thanks,
    Melissa

I remember Violet did this too. It should just scab back over.

Kyra had a "raw" spot too that got scratched off. You can call your dr. if you want to put your mind at ease but I'm pretty sure it's normal. Sounds like a bunch of us have seen it happen.

If it's not bleeding profusely, then it is likely nothing to worry about. If blood is regularly flowing, then they may need to glue the area together. This happened to Simon while we were still in the hospital, and they used DermaBond. He was dripping blood all over the place.
