Hi, I found this site and wanted to share. It hasn't helped me becaue my son's head doesn't look quite like any of the images, but thought this might help others.

Great site, I love the rotating CT images. Unfortunately like you, none of these images looks like my grandson. But it did help me to understand his head better if that makes any sense. Thanks for sharing

very interesting. thanks for sharing. my son was metopic, so of course I checked out that CT. Wow, I was surprised by how wide the coronal sutures were...and the size of the soft spot looked HUGE! Alex never had a CT so it's interesting to see what his skull may have looked like before surgery.

I saw that too Julie! I do think its variable though as some metopics have a closed soft spot. But, very interesting!! Thanks for the link!

Very informative site. The images gives the details idea of head. One can easily identify the shape with name. We can get some information and knowledge in this way.
Site says woman who haven given birth within 6 mo cannot donate blood?? Is that true?

Summer-I think that is true. In fact, if you're breastfeeding, they don't want you to, either. My husband donated, and is Aaden's bloodtype, he had a transfusion & there was still blood left over that was donated to the blood bank. When I first found out, I was bummed (it felt like the only thing I could DO!) but I read up on what it can do to your milk supply, etc. I felt like I needed to be 100% there for him after surgery.
