Hi all....I haven't been on in a while. Briahna is coming up on 4 years post op! I have noticed that her forehead has begun to narrow, most people wouldn't notice unless its pointed out to them and also she has a soft spot on the side of her head about the size of a quarter maybe bigger that worries me. I've called the neurosurgeons office and they say that narrowing again is normal and that the spot is another thing I needn't worry about. Just curious if any of you have noticed these types of things ...
Well it's another day of depression and hell for me. I feel sick inside and I am getting tired of living this way. I'm angry and bitter all the time and I just feel like life has nothing to offer. Usualy when I do a painting I find relief for a while but as soon as I put the brush down all my Demons storm the gates again. I can't sleep well anymore and I never feel good about myself. I'm sick of it all!
Hi All, I haven't visited the site for a long time but Jonathan our little boy who had a total cvr for sagittal in feb 2011and we and the surgeons were very happy wIth the results until recently i was concerned that his speech wasn't where it should be last summer so I requested a check-up appointment with his cranio doc and the neuro surgeon, I voiced my concerns about his language ( just spoken, his comprehension is perfect) and also a slight change ( lump) on the front of his head... Anyway ...
My son had his 4 month check up a week ago. And his Pediatrician had noticed that his soft spot on his head was gone? This sent my mind into a panic and made my heart drop. The thought of my son having a problem this early scared me dearly. He's a healthy baby boy and is very smart for his age. So we had our check-up this morning with the Neuro doctor and surely it was confirmed that his soft spots had closed. Now i await for surgery date... I return back Tuesday to meet with the team that ...
