  1. Gem is doing GREAT!

    Gem will be 15 months on the 28th. I've never written because I've been so busy with her. I'm so proud and pleased to say she is so smart and happy. Gem had her surgery when she was 7 months. To say she is strong is an understatement. After a week being home, she was back to herself. She talks so much! She says about 20-25 words. Also, Gem knows her colors and we're also workin on numbers and shapes. She's walking and is just about into everything. Gem loves animals, books and music. She'll dance ...

  2. Past our first year

    We arepast the first year after my oldest son Michael's last surgery. His head ischanging all the time. We have had several issues including, wires that aretrying to force their way out of the skin on the top of his head, and having tohave them removed. Not through surgery but in office pulling them out andcutting them with no numbing meds. Of course there are lumps associated withthe surgery, and his head is a bit lopsided..... Either the bones aren’thealing right or the wires are running away ...
