I will post here the same message as in the Cranio chat...sorry mods I know you like to keep an organised forum....

Just thought I would let you know that everything went well.

There were no available beds in the PICU when we arrived in the morning so the surgery was delayed until 12.40. We saw the NS and PS at roughly 6.10pm, so about a 5.5 hour surgery. Both were very pleased with the procedure. He received a full unit of blood, alot for a little guy.

We saw him at 7.30 in the PICU, which was amazing. He is sedated because he still has the breathing tube in. Because he still had a bit of a cold the want to keep it in until midday tomorrow. Mummy stayed at the hospital and I came home as they had no space for me and we live only 15 minutes from the hospital.

So things are as they should be....no surprises, which is great to us.
