Sophie's Helmet

Well, we got the helmet today and I decorated it. I was going to wait to have a nice picture of her smiling in it, but this one pretty much sums up our day today. She HATES it!!! I'm not sure how I'm going to make it thru, hopefully she won't scream when I try to put it on her again tomorrow.

Colin did take a while to adjust. Honestly, the worst part was all of the on and off times the first week. Once we were up to 23 hours a day, he seemed to do much better. Once he was in the helmet, he was better. I just tried to time the helmet on part with nursing or the bottle, and that calmed him right down. It never seemed to make his sleep any worse than it already was, which I was worried about. Now, it's just part of his day. He likes to play with it when it is off.
