Hats Off to CS Kids
I am thinking of starting a new venture. What my idea is, is to have a contact for each state, or each children's hospital for people to rely on.
My idea is a little more personal. I want someone in each state or each hospital to work with the doctors to be able to get out the information that there is help available. To have some form of a business card to give other families with contact information, which I would provide, but with the point of contacts info on it.
I would love for each contact to be able to give a phone number and maybe even be able to visit the family. I know when I was going through this it is so nice to know someone here in Utah. In fact, I had a family come and visit us in the hospital. Also, I want to have the support family give a hat to the child effected with CS. I am trying to get these donated so there is no cost to the support family. I love to put hats on Miriam so that people don't stare at her scare. I thought it would just give it a nice touch.
When we went to our PS on Thursday he told us that he just did another coronal surgery a couple of weeks before, and I couldn't believe I didn't know the family. I know for me I was right on the computer once I knew about Miriam. I am sure some people don't have the internet and are trying to go through this alone. I know I couldn't have done it that way. I just want to be able to help.
