Matthew's follow up appointment

Um, yeah....so I don't think it could have gone better!!! Are you all ready for this? We don't have to go back anymore!!!!! Matthew is officially done with neurosurgeon visits! He said that there is no chance of him re-fusing and that while his head is a little more narrow than it would be, it certainly isn't a problem! He told me to go home and put this all behind us. If we get concerned, bring him in but he doesn't see a need to see him again! Of course, I burst into tears. I was just so relieved! I can't believe that it's over. He will be five years post op on Thursday and we are finally done!!!! Wow....now what the hell do I do with myself?

I can't even imagine what that must feel like. I do understand the thought of "what do I do now?"
