How did surgery go?? We were scheduled to have surgery for Auroras fused saggital suture this coming week but then she got broncolitis and they wont touch her until she is 2 weeks without symptoms. So who knows now when it will happen.

So sorry Aurora has been under the weather and surgery has been postponed. I can only imagine how hard/disappointing/frusterating that all is. Just hang in there. Her time will be here again before you know it. :hugg

I also am so sorry that your surgery got canceled, but its really for the better. Makayla has pulled through perfectly, however she is pretty junky sounding they said it was common after being on a breathing tube fore 6+ hours. If the baby already has some broncial inflamation it would be worse.

HUGS honey!!

Surgery went great!! I am kinda frusterated with the shape of her head, but I am assuming this is a 2 step process... she looks like she has severe brachiocephly now.. But there is no longer a coner on the back of her head! LOL

Cristi - be patient thats what the helmet therapy is for - all they did so far was release the fused suture. *hugs*
