Ember is HELMET FREE!!!

Ember went to the Neurosurgeon yesterday and he gave to ok to take her out of the helmet. This morning I took her to the orthotics office & they did her final measurements & gave her a cute little certificate of graduation. I stopped on the way home yesterday & bought her a bunch of cute little clippies, the alligator kind that sort of grab the hair like a clothes pin so I don't have to push on her little head. It was so exciting! Now I get to nuzzle her hair & kiss the top of her head. I'm so happy!!! :yipee


Oh, AND her next appointment (besides her pediatrician) isn't 'till November! Our life will no longer revolve around an endless schedule of doctor visits! YAY!!!!

thanks guys!!! here's an interesting note. the whole time ember was in her helmet people would compliment her saying how "cute" she was. today were at the mall - our first real helmet-free outing, and all the compliments were either "pretty" or "beautiful." interesting, huh? then i realized besides my husband & me (and everyone on here) nobody has ever called ember pretty.
