We just got back from a follow up with the doctor, and Colin gets his helmet off in four months! Just in time for his first birthday, and before the summer should get too terribly hot. I was so happy I cried in the car on the way home. Three months shorter than they thought originally. Dr. Kane said he was a poster child for recovery and that his head was perfect. What an emotional day for us. Plus, my sweet baby slept all the way there and back instead of four hours of crying. Yay! What a wonderful day.
