Helmets after 1 year old?

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience or knows anyone who has had a molding helmet after 1 year old?

Hayden is in a helmet right now. Hes going to be 15 mos on the 22nd of this month. He's also going to have to wear it for up to 5 more mos.

We learned at Dillon's appointment today that he will be in a molding helmet afte rhis next surgery. The Dr. feels it's important to protect his head and to hold everything in place until he's healed, so it's not so much for molding purposes.

Clara had her CVR at 10 months. At the time of surgery, the docs said when I asked oh, no, she won't need a helmet. Then at one of her follow-ups, they prescribed a helmet. She got the helmet at 13 months and wore it until 18 months. I was told after 18 months, the head growth slows so much that it's not much use after that.

Avery has been in his for about six months now but at 18 months it has done all it can do, really.
