Emily's surgery

I am currently in the lounge at the hospital the surgery went well and Emily is resting well in the pediatric intermedite unit. Tricia has gone home to take care of Halia and Ashlyn ( Em's big and twin sisters) the nurses have set me up with a cot right next to Em's bed how cool is that. I expect she will be moved to a regular room tomarow and if all goes well discharged Saturday. Ya'all were right it is amazing how well these kids take the surgery. Thank you all for your support.

Great news! Glad she's doing well. I was in the room w/Eden the whole time, even wihle in ICU. I think it's great when they let you be there like that. I'm sure Emily is comforted by your presence.

Belive it or not her surgery was on Thursday and she we took her home Friday evening. She was swollen for a few days but she is doing great now both eyes open and smiling thoes big smiles like nothing happened.
