Jake's helmet - 7 months old, 4 months post-op

So we had our 4 month post op visit with Dr. Proctor yesterday. Jake is doing great! Dr. Awesome said that Jake has great head shape, his bone is closing in nicely, and is ratio is right on target 7.8 He said it's perfect! Yes, perfect!!!! I am so excited!!!! So, now Jake is down to half the helmet time, basically just overnight. Today was the first day without the helmet and it was GREAT! Jan 5th is the next appt, and unless something unusual happens with less helmet time, he should be scott free then!

Yippie yippie!!!! What an amazing noggin my little man has! What a trooper - I am so proud of him! It was great kissing his fuzzy head all over today ...

Yeah, so happy that Jake's doing so well!!! And so jealous that you guys get to follow up with Dr. Proctor.

We're so glad we came to Boston for Leina's surgery, but haven't been able to afford a trip back for follow up. So, we're just guessing as to whether or not her head shape is where it should be.

She is finally back on the normal pediatric chart for head growth. Down to the 90%. So, that combined with visual assurance has us happy with her results thus far. I'm sure her head could be rounder, but we're super happy with her results.

So happy for you and Jake!!!
