Will be Jan 5th..Not what I wanted but they are booked sooo we have to take what they have.But on the bright side we will have him home through the holidays without worrying about going ot Dr appointments and stuff.So unless someone cancels we will be having surgery Jan 5

Oh I remember hating the wait! I feel for you there. We knew Dillon had craniosynostosis officially at 5 days old, but had a 4.5 month wait before surgery. You do have a good point, having him home for the holidays instead of spending them in the hospital are a bonus :hugg :hugg

It is so hard to have to wait. But just try to enjoy them, as they are. I tell myself that she will never remember being this way, so I better. Enjoy the holidays with him.

I'm glad you got a date. The wait is hard, but now that there's not much more to do (in the way of getting appointments, making decisions etc), you can just hang out and enjoy him! :hugg

I'll be praying for you, it is so hard to wait I remember but believe me it goes by so fast and then everything will be over.

The waiting is DEFINETELY the worst part. We know Kalem had cranio at birth and we had to wait 91/2 months. Kalem's surgery was December 19th and we were home on x-mas eve. Trust me not what I wanted either. It was a very quiet x-mas. Especially as it was Kalem's 1st x-mas. We are making up for it this year :-) I was just glad to have both my boys home for the holidays. This way you can enjoy your holiday with family and friends and trust me he will be A o.k. :-)
