We are off to Duke University Medical Center bright and early tomorrow morning! Luke's appt with Dr. Fuchs is at 10:30 and his CT is scheduled for 11:30. Wish us luck!!! I'm still pretty nervous, but very anxious to get the final results. Let's hope he still feels that no surgery is needed when he sees him face to face. I think the biggest challenge will be no eating 4 hours prior!!

I will post the news asap! Thanks in advance for all your prayers!

We are thinking of you and praying that no surgery is needed. Let us all know how things go once you get the results and find out what the next step is.

I think your right about the biggest challenge being not eating. My kiddo always has a hard time with that! Good luck.

First of all, thanks to all of you for your prayers and support! The appt was wonderful. Dr. Fuchs was great and so kind. I am very happy to report that Luke's head is just fine! He has positional plagiocephaly that WILL NOT require surgery or even wearing a helmet or band! Dr. Fuchs said it was very mild and will be completely undetectable in a few years. He said that once he is up and moving around more his head will fill out as it should and that nothing needs to be done! We are so thrilled with the news! I was all cool and strong for the last few weeks, but when he told me that I just burst into tears! My husband said "You're suppose to be happy now" and I said "these are happy tears!" What a relief. I can't tell you how I feel right now, just knowing my baby will not have to go through any of this is amazing. I can't thank you guys enough for all of your support! I feel as if I have made life-long friends and hope you won't mind if I stick around just to offer my support and friendship to you all! Again, thanks so much for everything. I don't know how I would've handled the past few months without you!
