Owen's Check up

Okay...I am worrying again, and probably for no reason. But, WE went to see Dr Singhal in KC Wed. He told me the springs looked fine, and he would send the Scans to Dr. David.It was a pretty unevent ful check up but, He made a comment about how Owen still has a metopic ridge. Now Dr. Singhal is learning about the Spring Mediated Cranioplasty and admits he doesn't know much. So I tried to let the comment go...but its been festering....and now I am concerned that the ridge shouldn't be there... I have e mailed Dr. David's office (she's the master) and Im sure they would let me know if there was something to worry about. And Owen has another surgery coming up....she could take care of it then if needed. ...but... huh...
Im not sure how to think about it...but that comment is still sitting in the back of my mind...Does anyone have SME experience that can confirm or deny that the metopic ridge is okay? Lisa? Tom?

Casey- just wndering...why did you have an appt. with Dr. Singhal if Dr. David is the one taking on Owen's care??? Just wondering...It seems that if Singhal does not know about SME then what is the check-up for???

Regardless, I hope Owen is fine and that your worries are unfounded!!! Keep us posted!

Dr. David is in NC. We are in Kansas City. Dr. Singhal went to NC to learn how to do it..and is learning the protocol through checking up on Owen, so We don't have to fly to NC every time we need a check up and he can see the progression of this surgery.
