Well, Dr. Fuchs called this morning to let me know that he had reviewed the original x-ray and CT films from our local hospital. Based on those tests, he feels that Luke does NOT have cranio, but it appears to look more like positional plagiocephaly, which would not require surgery. He is cautious with this statement and wants us to keep the appt for July 3 so he can look at him and determine if the 3-D CT is warranted. I am hopeful at this point. It sounds pretty good to me! I don't mind a helmet or band...much better than the surgery!!

Yippee! Hopefully he see's you on the 3rd and still believes it's not cranio....I agree, if given the choice of a band or surgery, I'd choose the band! Please keep us posted- and yes, please stick around either way!

Thank you to everyone! We have truly needed your support during all of this. No matter what happens, I feel as though i have made good friends here and I truly care about all of you and your children! I get attached to kids so quickly, so I feel like I know them already! I will definately be hanging around!

:yipee Pam - that is such wonderful news!!! I am so happy for you and I will keep you in my prayers that Dr. Fuchs will have the same diagnosis on the 3rd!!!
I know you must feel such relief!! I feel it for you! I hope you will only need a band for plagio or positioning to correct it.
I really trust Dr. Fuchs, he is such a great doctor! We just love him!
You have to hang around- we are all family now!!
