We have decided to do the surgery!

I called the NS today they are going to schedule him for his surgery, I just thought long and hard. Last week did not help he kept getting hurt right near that open space and I told hubby I think God is showing us how easy it would be for him to get hurt. I can not take the chance of a devastating blow to that area. I'll let everyone know the big day.

Over the summer they mentioned it would be the best time Matt also has all this other neuro development appointments coming up, (autism diagnosis). His behavior has gotten so bad he was hitting the baby yesterday, and tried to choke me. I had to fight with him to get a stick out of his hands because he wanted to sleep with this huge stick he has become attached to, mind you he swings it around and almost hit everyone.

I'm sorry to hear you are having some problems with Matthew, he sounds like quite a handful. Hang in there mom. As for the surgery, please keep us posted on the date, it sounds like you have made a good decision.
