Hello All,
My name is Alex, my wife Jennifer and I are proud parents of TWIN girls. Thankfully they are not identical twins, Natalie is the oldest by 3 minutes and has Pfieffer's Syndrome Type III and Olivia is her little sister. Our little girl has had 24 hospital admissions and 13 surgeries. (Endoscopic suture release, 3 traditional Vaults, 2 forehead advancements, 3 Chiari decompressions, trach placement, broviac port placed, and a few I know I can't or don't want to remember) We started with doctors at Herman Childrens Hospital in Houston, they did her first surgeries, but then they just kind of gave up on her. They told us just to take her home and love her that there was nothing else they could do. Well that was not good enough, we took our little angel to Dallas to see Dr. Fearon. If any one asks me for a doctor to take thier little one too he is it. Now she is almost 2 (July9) and is getting bigger and stronger every day. She is delayed physically, but she is as smart as her sister or smarter. She still has yet to crawl but we are working on that. It has been a tough couple of years on our entire family. If it was not for the love and support of my wife's mother we never would have made it this far. My wife is active with CCA kids, and we are looking forward to thier retreat in Hearshy PA this year. Hope to hear from some of ya'll
