OK, this is my first attempt at putting one of these together...it's very long, way too many pictures and set at a high speed (because there are so many pictures :icon_mrgr ), but I hope you enjoy it anyway. :wink

(and my apologies to anyone whose idea, song, or text I "borrowed"...all of your montages were just so good, I couldn't help myself). :blush

Hanna, I am not a cryer, but you got me with that 1/2 birthday cake. How sweet. I think I would have wanted to do the same thing had Isaac's 1/2 birthday been just before surgery (instead of a couple weeks after).

Our July Jets are absolutely the cutest babies in the whole world, wouldn't you agree?

Hanna, I loved it! Yes, I was crying too. What is it about these montages with the music and pictures that makes me cry EVERY time???? Can I ask what a July Jet is guys?? I know alot of you have babies born in July but why a Jet?

O.K. now I'm crying. I'm sitting here watching your video and looking at Julianna playing in her bouncer seat. She has no idea about what she will go through in June. It is amazing how quickly they recover that just blows my mind completely. Your little guy is so cute.

Nancy, it's because of their month/day/year. 7/ /07, but we skip the 0 in 2007...

Jack - 727
Nicholas - 747
Isaac - 7277 (close enough, he just has an extra 7...)

Aren't we clever? heh heh

Awesome! Nicholas just looks like the happiest little guy. You did a great job on the montage...I hope you found creating one as cathartic as I did.

Thanks, everyone. DH thought I was nuts for celebrating Nicholas' "1/2" birthday, but as you all know, those last few days before the surgery are just so hard. I was just so afraid of losing Nicholas that I thought I had to do something special and make sure he had at least one birthday cake…crazy, I know… :crazy

Now that we've celebrated it once, though, I think I'll make it an annual tradition. We won't do anything big, just maybe a little cake and plan a special outing. Nicholas will probably enjoy it, especially when he's younger and being a half year older is still sooooo important (don't you love it when kids say they are not 4, they are 4 1/2, with a big emphasis on that half :icon_mrgr ), but the "1/2" birthday celebrations will be more for me as I never want to forget how I felt that day, and those days before the surgery. The next ones will be much happier celebrations and will remind me how lucky I am to have Nicholas and that he is doing so well - my little July jet champ! (and yes, I agree, Elizabeth, July jets are the cutest!). :wink

Dear Hanna, thanks for sharing the montage. Its very motivating to see how quick the heroes recover from such a surgery. It fills me with hope for my sons operation in September. Your little sweet Nicholas is amazing!
