We're back from the neurosurgeon visit, and it went very well! He looked over the CT and said there is no visible suture, but there is also no ridging because of it, and it is not constricting brain growth the way it was when he was born :woohoo
He said Dillon looks great, on a grade scale he gives him a B+ or A- :woohoo
He's going to contact Dillon's craniofacial surgeon about the irregularities in his skull (flattening on the right side of forehead, defects, etc...), and we'll hear more about that later. We also asked him about the flattening of his nasal bridge and weather or not that can cause him breathing problems. Dillon sounds all snorkely when he sleeps. He said that is something more for an ENT and we should follow up with one. We told him Dillon already has one and it turns out the NS knows her pretty well. He spoke highly of Dillon's ENT (referred to her by first name). We've been very lucky so far in that all of Dillon's Dr's know each other and have gret reputations.
So, the little mans brain is growing just fine and we are very relieved! :adore
