Sofia just had her check-up today, and the PS thinks she looks good. He said if he were to compare the outcome of her surgery to a baseball game, she would be in third base, not a homerun, which he said is rare. He also mentioned a little flatness that he thought he saw from afar, but said it did not need any touch-ups at this point. Thank God! Her eyebrows are aligned, so he said she looks great. He was impressed that Sofia could count up to six, and say Doctor Mike. She was smiling at her PS the whole time and singing her favorite songs: "C is for Cookie" and "Who let the dogs out".... He said he was happy with her development. Yehey! We see her NS on Monday. Will post updates of her visit. PS says he wants to see her again sometime when she turns 2 years old, so we will be back to see him again within the year.

I am glad to hear that she is doing well, but I am a little confused about the baseball analogy. (Perhaps I am thinking too hard. LOL) Is it rare for them to not reach home, or is it rare for them to reach 3rd at all?
You sure do have some smart kiddos. Your heart must be ready to burst with pride.

Cindy, to tell you honestly, I wasn't too happy hearing the PS compare the outcome of her surgery to third base. I would have wanted everything to be perfect, and score a homerun. The NS says he would still give her an A- rating. Also, everytime we see the PS he always comments about the very mild flatness on her affected side, but says its hardly noticeable. I am just way too happy they didn't mention another surgery!
