We are in a regular room now...Isaac's nutrition IV is OUT...he is only hooked up to the heart and breathing monitors now. His swelling is starting to go down. He's been eating well and seems pretty comfortable. He hasn't had any morphine since midnight last night, and has just hit the 4 hour mark on his tylenol with codeine...his last dose was his last scheduled dose, so we will see how he does now! I think he will still get valium for a while, but other than the antibiotics every 6 hours, he is totally IV free!! His neurosurgeon predicted that we will be able to go home Sunday. :yipee
Now he just needs to open his eyes and start smiling at us!!

WONDERFUL!!! I've been thinking about you guys all week and am so happy to hear that Isaac is doing so well and that he may be able to go home on Sunday. It's also good to hear that most of the IV lines are out and that he is eating so well (that is one thing Nicholas isn't doing..he hasn't eaten since before the surgery, not even a sip of juice...I'm sure he will take something soon, though). Can't wait to see more pictures of Isaac. :-)
