I just got some good news finally. Insurance just called me and they will cover Christina's surgery. :party :cheer
It is considered a medical necessity by the doctors and the nurse who consults with the BCBS people. I am just so thrilled to have that part covered. Now to just have the surgery done and over with in five weeks......

Christina- Congrats!!!! This is good news for us, too, because we are going to have Dr. Fearon do Quintin's surgery AND we, too, have BCBS insurance..so we're probably covered too! YEAH!!!
