So I took autumn's helmet off today for bath time. and part of her scar is bleeding with white stuff coming out. I freaked out. I mean it wasn't alot, but still it was yucky. So I'm going to take the helmet off for the night. I hope that's the right thing todo.
But I don't know if I should call. I'm going to wait till morning and see how it is. I really hate making that drive.

Man...I'm sorry you are in that boat right now. I know that panicked-and-all-the -dr's-offices-are-closed feeling!!
Good luck tomorrow! I don't know ANYTHING about helmets, so I am of no help other than support!

We took it off for the night and it's getting alot better. I still have to say that I can't wait for her to be out of it.

I don't know what to tell you. Gavin didn't have the same problem but I did notice that his incision was raised a bit when he was wearing his helmet - probably from the moisture. Is she sweating alot? I hope it gets better.

no she isn't sweating alot. At first she was and then they put holes in her helmet and that seemed to help. Today it's looking really good. So now we are bak into full time wear.
