View Full Version : Asher's surgery was Tuesday! We are on the other side!

Asher was originally scheduled for surgery on May 12. Once we had arrived to the hospital they postponed surgery due to the start of an ear infection. I was crushed! However we got through it and she had CVR completed on Tuesday. She is doing well. She is a little active today and seems to be more comfortable! So far she has been so lucky because her left eye, which is swollen but not swollen shut so she can see mommy and daddy and can check things out. Jay and I are just so happy to say we are on the other side!!! Wow I have been dying to say that for months now!! And a HUGE thank you to the Cranio Care Bears!

Asher's Nana loves Ashersmommy to pieces...you are the best Mommy anyone could have and you and Jay are doing a fantastic job with precious Asher. And "yes" how great it is to say we are on the other side...the feeling is too much for words. Again, thanks to this site for preparing us for what was to come. Ashersmommy has some great pix to share soon.

Thank you everyone! Do not know where we would be without all of you! Asher is going home tomorrow! Her surgeons are amazed with how well she is doing! Best part is her left was swollen but never swelled completely shut! So thankful for that!
