What do you think Lucas Design?? (2nd Proof)

I like the other designs. This one reminds me of a bumble bee. I loved the other construction one.

The original one are stickers for helmets, I showed him that and this is what he came up with!! So not what i was thinking!! :giggle

So my problem is how do i tell him i want a more child like design and no so darn vibrant!! Without being unappreciative!!!

I'd just say I appreciate his help, but that it is nothing like the original design. I'd ask him politely to see what else he can come up with.

I wish I was good at stuff like this.. But I dont plan on my son wearing this design for awhile!! It would drive me nuts!! But thought I would ask and see if you guys thought the same way, and if it wasnt me just overeacting on a different idea than what I had put in my head!!

nope, i wouldn't have expected that one at all after the designs? could you just get stickers and change them a lot hyourself? there have been some amazing ones here - sophie always had really cute ones...

You should NEVER feel obligated to accept that when that's not the idea you gave him. Be honest. If it's his JOB then he should be professional, and should be able to come up with what you asked for.

I hope he understands. Some folks like their child's helmet to be a bit "rough and tumble"... but there are others of us who want it to be a bit "softer" and not so "in your face". To each his own. :hugg Please keep us updated!

That's what I emailed him back, that I can't imagine looking at him in it for so long, that I was sorry but it wasn't what I expected at all! I do not want it yellow and black, to please let me know if he can give me something different, more fun for a baby!

Let's see what he comes up with, in the meantime I have a nice white helmet to look at. I know I much rather look at white than yellow! :giggle

You could go to Hobby Lobby and get some stickers to tide you over til the guy can give you something more "mellow" 8) Just a thought 8)

Some designers are just hard to work with and he sounds like one of them. I'd find someone else or just go buy the stickers.
