Lucas is getting his helmet Friday!

Just got the call, Lucas gets his helmet Friday! :sigh

To many emotions! :woohoo :scared :cry

I know its for his own good, I'm just praying that he adjusts to it soon! The heat is what worries me! :no

Do you guys know if he can dehydrate from sweating a lot? Will post a pic on Friday. Wish us both luck! We're gonna need it!

:adore I can't wait to see the pictures. I know it's stressful thinking about if he is going to adjust ok, but kids are super resilient, they go with the flow.

I know he is going to adjust well! I'm sure he won't dehydrate from the heat as long as he is getting his bottles.

Just make sure you stay in air conditioned places as much as you can (like we don't already here in this crazy heat)! He is gonna be a pro before you know it! You and him both! We will join you in this helmet journey in July! Then we can be helmet buddies! Good luck! You've got this one:comfort

I can't wait to see pictures.
Angelo wore his helmet in the summer and fall. He used to sweat in it alot however I do not think that they will get dehydrated in it. There should be holes in the helmet which should aid with keeping the head cooler.

I think he's going to do GREAT!!!!! Did you ask them for a water-proof version so he can sit in the kiddie pool with his helmet on ;o) No, seriously, he can wear his helmet with a thin cotton t-shirt, diaper, and sandals (cute image there!) all summer long and I'm sure he'll be comfy. I can't wait to see pics :adore

Oh wow, another helmet buddie!! :adore Where are you going to get his helmet at? Did you see my thread about getting them wrapped, they have a shop in Gilbert and Mesa! Good Luck. The 3 of us are definetly going to have to get together so we can get a pic of or kiddos! Somewhere inside with A/C :giggle

So I lost the helmet for about 30min!! :scared I was going crazy, Mateo got a hold of it, and threw it in the closet.. :giggle

I guess I better leave in a safe place while he has it off!
