Hi I am new to the board and I have been reading post I have a ridge on the top of my head it is pointy at the top I was just wondering is there any thing that can be done for that. I do not see alot of options for adults. Would skull shaving even take off that much at all and would it leave a big scar.I am going to talk to a cranio surgeon soon was just wondering what to exspect. I have seen some things about kriptonite bone cement as a injectable filler that can help round out imperfections has any body heard of it. I have not been diagnosed with any thing just noticed a point at the top of my head here are some pics.

Does it bother you to have a slightly pointed head? Do you feel you need surgery? I mean, if you've had it all this time...

But you should do whatever feels right for you. Talking to a cranio surgeon is a good start.

I can see it, but it doesn't look 'obvious' to me- does that make sense. If it's something that really bothers you though- finding out your options is not a bad idea.
I've heard of the bone paste to help w/ imperfections, my daughter had a form of it on her eyebrow area- but it wasn't injectable. I'm curious to see what your doctor says at your appointment. Please keep us posted!

Welcome to cranio kids.

I can see your lump or ridge or whatever you wanna call it. IMO I think it looks fine.

Have you any plans to look further into it out of sheer curiosity and the like. Do you think it's cranio?

Good luck with whatever you do
