Im pretty sure I had saggital albeit not entirely sure.
My head bulges on the right and my ear is kinda far back. my forehead bulges out on the right and is flat on the left. my right eye is out more and bigger
they say i look normal.
ive gotton plenty of shit from assholes at school. people notice this.
what you think? i grew my hair out to cover it
what results can one expect regarding surgeries from when one was young. in my case, i was 4 months old
my eyes look a little to the left. my nose does too. my mouth is at an angle.

Welcome to CK!! I just took a look at your pics... I know it is super-frustrating to believe something is "off" and to have everyone else say it looks great. I get it. I do. But I honestly think your head shape appears to be within normal range, at least from these pics. And since having a child with a mis-shapen head, I am overly conscious about the shape of noggins I see. :) Ask my husband. LOL
But seeing as how you are obviously concerned about it, it wouldn't hurt to get a referral to a craniofacial specialist who works with older children and ask their opinion. I'm sure others will show up soon, just wanted to give my input while I was on.

on a slightly unrelated note, when i take pictures with my phone, i seems very noticable and my face just looks alot uglier in general, cranio aside. yet in the mirror or in yearbooks i look ok.

I don't see it in the pictures either, but sometimes it's hard to see in pictures. We couldn't see it in our daughter's pictures.
What you're describing sounds more like coronal to me. Those are the features my daughter had. If you had surgery at 4 months, it is possible to need a 2nd surgery. The skull a lot of times continues to grow the same way it had been growing even after the correction.
I agree with Dawn, it wouldn't hurt to see a craniofacial surgeon.

Hello and welcome to CK. I agree with Dawn, your head looks normal to me. However if your head shape upsets you, you should get a referral to a craniofacial surgeon.
Best wishes and keep us posted.

I'll admit I laughed at this. :giggle Cameras on phones stink. Yes, they are getting progressively better, but they're still, what, 1 mp??
Seriously, though, lighting & angle, etc really play into how a person's head shape appears. There are some pics where G2's head looks phenomenal, like she's never had any issues EVER. And there are other pics where I wonder what good surgery ever did her, you know?
I'm just saying, don't trust the camera phone. Check out your friends' pics on that same phone and see how goofy THEIR heads look. Trust me. :shiftyeyes

Welcome to ck! I do see a little asymmetry but I do not think you look abnormal in any way- I think you are an attractive young man and you shouldn't worry about what anyone thinks of you!
Just so you know most people have some asymmetry- I myself have on ear which is like 1/2" higher than the other, a very attractive friend of mine has one nostril which is quite a bit wider than the other- she told me about it one day and ever since then I can see it but I would likely never have noticed if she hadn't said anything!! I think all of us has something about our physical appearance which we would love to change or that we just feel a little self conscious about but in reality most people don't even notice these idiosyncrasies! Teenagers can be critical but you are growing into a man and as you get a bit older that sort of thing won't happen anymore trust me!
You could certainly meet with a surgeon to learn a little more about your condition and to make sure that everything is a ok. Frankly though, unless you had wildly asymmetrical features no surgeon would likely treat you- this surgery is serious and is really not done for cosmetic purposes only to return appearance to within normal range and to protect the brain. If you had headaches or developmental symptoms or something that would be a different story- they would look at brain scans and determine if your brain has enough room to function properly. You sound perfectly intelligent and didn't mention headaches or other symptoms so while I can understand you feeling self conscious knowing you had this disorder and wondering if everything was fixed properly I can say confidently that you are a normal handsome healthy guy and you shouldn't worry about what a few idiots have to say about you!!
You are young...Go live life with gusto! Be glad your folks were able to have this treated when you were little. Meet with a craniofacial surgeon if doing so will make you feel better but really you do look great and you have a great life ahead of you- work hard, make good friends, find something you like to do and just make the most of life!

I see the mild asymmetry of your forehead. Find out from your parents exactly what kind of craniosynostosis you had, because it looks like you may have had a coronal fusion corrected. It's very common for cranio kids to still have some asymmetry/abnormality even after surgery...to what extent this is ok needs to be determined by you, your parents and a trusted Craniofacial Surgeon. I know everyone in your life is telling you that you look fine..blah, blah...but maybe speaking with a surgeon would be the best thing for you? Talk to your parents about it.

I agree with the others, it looks more coronal to me. I see the ears and the bulge in the forehead. The eyes I wouldn't see except that you pointed it out. These are a lot of the features my left coronal son had that made us go for a 2nd surgery when he was 4. I suggest seeing a cranial facial surgery for his opinion. We were told that about your age the face goes through it's last growth spurt and things can improve/get worse. You never know and that it's not entirely uncommon for them to do touchups at that point.

Welcome to ck! I agree that your features are within the normal range. However, if you are uncomfortable, you should seek the advise of a CFS and or NS.

Man you've got serious hair lol! You'll never go bald with that hair. I KNOW you will have the same hair untill you are a very old man.
Anyhow I digress, nice to meet you. You're not ugly, or in anyway abnormal looking. Sorry to say so in a way cos god don't I know how much it pisses me off when people lie for the easy life. But, I'm not!
Peace out. Good luck on your search for answers!

HI, I do see a small amoutn of assymmetry, but only cos you pointed it out and i've really looked hard - my little girl had surgery for coronal - i would imagine that is what you had too? I know we were told that it is "unrealistic to expect a perfect result" but i think your result is fantastic - you look like a cool, confident guy - I really wouldn't imagine that any surgeon would perform any sort of surgery to "correct" your face as honestly - you look great. I had NO cranio and have 2 completely different eyes and eyebrows are completely different shapes, and also my smile is "wonky" I'm not belittleing your situation in any way - but - honestly - you do look great xxx

Have you consulted with any surgeons yet? I'm sorry...I can't remember where you are from. Maybe one of us could help stear you in the right direction to seeking some help.
