what do these tests show?

since the neurosurgeon wants to do a 3d ct scan and mri of marks head im wondering if yall could tell me what these tests will show because they didnt explain anything to me so could anyone tell me what they are lookin for on these tests?:sigh

I would ask them more questions yourself, but I imagine they are looking to see if his brain has enough room, does it appear to be anatomically correct in size, shape and position of the different parts of the brain. Good luck and let us know how it goes...
