Does anyone know if it's safe for my baby to sleep on her right side if she had right coronal cranio? She had surgery exactly 3 weeks ago. Also she sweats alot from her head should I worry about it?

I would not worry. The incision should be about healed by now.

I think it should be OK, but I'd ask your surgeon. It might depend on the method. I know with Dr. Fearon and Nick's surgery for sagittal he told us he could sleep any which way he wanted and it wouldn't matter. But I don't want to generalize that advice for just anyone, since maybe if plates or screws are used or with it being a different suture it would matter. I'd just place a quick call to make sure. But I know with babies for most purposes they say to let them sleep however they are comfortable and not to move them.

I would think it would be ok too. For some reason my son gets a really sweaty head when he sleeps too. (I was going to say "wicked sweaty" but I guess that's a New England slang, huh? lol) We were laughing b/c he had a bath last night and then he was nursing and got all sweaty again.

Andrew's head was always very hot after surgery and still is a bit now. Now sure about the sleeping thing though, sorry.
