Hello, My name is Jackie. I am mother of 3. My youngest daughter has Saggital craniosynostosis. We have been through numerous testing. She has her first consultation with the plastic surgeon on October 3rd, 2007. I recently start researching cranialsynostosis and stumbled on this website. I have been in tears the last couple of days thinking about the different things I have read about the surgery she will have to go through. I have a Two year old son who had to go through surgery for club feet and pyloric stenosis when he was 6 weeks old. That experience was tough to go through and now we have to do it again. I really wanted to join this site so I can have a clear picture of some of the things that others have gone through. Having other people that can relate to your situation is reassuring.

Mercedes is 7 months old today. She was born on Feb 12th, 2007. She was born with a Full head of hair. :)

I wish my kids had that much hair! MY 4 year old now does, and thats after 4 years of growing it....lol My 4 month old (well 4 months on the 17th) just had surgery for sagittal, and it was rough but now that the surgery is over everything is great and hes a happy baby again :) everyone was right when they said waiting was the worst part, it definitely was....
