sticky tape residue

Any help to get the sticky tape residue off my son's head? We can't scrub, nor would I want to. Taking the tape off was traumatic enough for the three of us; I don't want to create more trauma trying to get his head unsticky. Thanks!

maybe try baby oil? I know it works for sticky residue from plasters?

The hospital provided us with wipes to remove the sticky tape from all the iv's. If you haven't had your follow-up yet, ask for them at the follow-up. I know many surgeons complete a one or two week follow-up. I remember wrting a post about the wipes right after my son's surgery. I'll see if I can find it.

We used Baby oil on my daughter and it worked great.
