Hi there! My name is Lindsey, and my 7 month-old son, Moses, was recently diagnosed with Metopic Cranio.
In April, I noticed a ridge forming from Moses hairline to nose, and when it seemed more pronounced two months later, I mentioned it to his doctor at his 6 month appointment. Our doctor said it could be his suture closing early and that we should keep an eye on it, and he'd check on it a the 9 month appointment. I couldn't wait that long, and after a more thorough examination, Moses had a CT Scan.
The CT, we just learned, confirmed that his Metopic Suture is completely closed. We've got an appointment scheduled with a pediatric neurosurgeon on August 6th.
Moses doesn't have any of the "beaking" usually associated with this, but the ridge is noticeable.

I'm anxious but ready to hear what the doctor has to say about this.
