Has anyone had surgery at chop?(METOPIC OR ANY)

Hi My daughter amanda is 1 yrs old and we have been told she has metopic cranio we have a surgery date of sept 24th but we are so confuse what to do. This is a tentative date as my husband i and sit here and ponder what is best for our little mandi. Please if anyone has used chop for surgery please contact us. we have lots of questions.

just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. my daughter lily had surgery for saggital in january, she was 19 months at the time. it has been a very stressful time for us but our daughter bounced back from the surgery very quickly and now has plenty of room for her wee brain to grow in. a huge decision for us too. all the best and let us know how you get on. our prayers are with you

Hi Keri,

Sorry i am late getting this to you. My son was operated on in Mt Sinai NYC. Doctor was exceptional. Since you are close you might want to check him out. He also has sort of been on the NY evening news. He has been operating on the little girl that was broght over from Iraq with severe cleft lip/pallate and other facial deformity. At the time of amandas surgery she will be 16th months. I will keep you all posted on what happens from now to than. We havent heard anything from anyone They told us that if they had an earlier date they would let us know.
