Helped us a lot. My neighbor gave me a box of chocolates and told to give them to nurses, telling me: I have friends who work at hospitals, believe me, it works!
So I got some more boxes, and I mostly gave them to night shifts. Really, I know, usually they are nice and helpful anyways, but every little bit of extra care and attention helps, and in the hospital we all need every bit of support.

That's a really great idea. When I was on bedrest in the hospital I would have DH pick up a pizza once in a while and I'd always have him get an extra one for the nurses too. They loved it and I got wonderful care!

I'm a nurse and we really do love food bribes. We also love thank you cards.

We had a very special nurse at sick kids, her name is Yvonne, we went back and gave her a box of chocolates, she was amazing and I'll never forget her.

I just saw this as a cute thank you and plan on bringing them for our surgery this time around. I was such a mess and we had so many nurses the first time I forgot half their names by the time I got home to write thanks yous! These I plan on just giving out as a verbal thank you right when we're there!
On a slip of paper type or write:
Thank you for your commit-"mint"
Thank you for your encourage-"mint" to our family
Thank you for your involve-"mint" in our journey
Thank you for your invest-"mint" in ****'s care
Thank you for making each day more of an enjoy-"mint"
Thank you for creating a nice environ-"mint"
Everything you have done has really "mint" a lot!
Hole punch the top corner and tie with a ribbon to a small bag of mints, gum, york peppermint patties, etc!
Just something small and enjoyable! And they're extremely easy to put together! Thought I'd share!
