We made it to Dallas yesterday and are getting ready for Max's pre-op appointments. Just wanted to thank you all for the support and info that helped get us to this point!

wow, I just got a knot in my stomach for you. I sooo remember arriving in Dallas for our pre-ops and all the butterflies that were living in my stomach, lol. Hugs mama and I'm glad you made it safe and sound.

Lots of luck today. I remember pre op appnt day well. It's a LONG one, but they will get you through as quickly as they can. They are all a wonderful bunch of people.

If you get a chance, stop at the BBQ restaurant on the first floor for lunch, YUMMY!!!! Hang in there and let us know how it went. You're almost to the finish line!!!

Thanks everyone! Max made it through surgery with flying colors and we are now back at the hotel. These are some tough days, but all things considered we're doing pretty well. He can see out of both eyes, and that helps. Now if I could just get some sleep.... (hahaha!) We'll let you all know more when we get home.

Cassie!!! Yay and welcome to the other side mama :D I'm thrilled to hear that all went well and you're back at the hotel. When do you fly home?

You're certianly right...these days are rough, but you're past the hump now. It only get's better from here. I'm also thrilled to hear that Max can see out of both his eyes. I think that was one of the things that upset Alex the most (not being able to see).

Hang in there and don't hold your breath for that sleep just yet, lol. It'll come eventually, but it could be another week or so before Max is back on track.
