Thank you to EVERYONE for all of your good wishes and prayers. I feel like the past few days have gone on forever... what a rollercoaster. I truly CANNOT believe that it is over and how AMAZING my little boy is!!

So as planned we had his multi-strip craniectomy on Monday 3/5 and not as planned we came home early... TODAY!!! He was only in the hospital for 2 days! I cannot believe it! Such a trooper... it brings tears to my eyes thinking about how strong he is! He ended up needing a blood transfusion but I expected this and was relieved to see the pink that it put back in his cheeks. I was also shocked that his eyes did NOT swell shut... he can still open those big baby blues. They took off his bandage this morning right before discharge and I am already amazed at the change in his head shape. I know a lot of it is swelling but it's almost as if they took Taran's face and put it on another baby's head!

Anyway, I'm totally drained but wanted to send my thanks and an update! You all have been an amazing support!
