Hey everybody. I had a question to see what you all might think. Maggie has been doing wonderful, growing beautifully but she grabs her right side of her head every once in a while and cries. Could it be her scar bothers her... or god forbid something more? Does anyone know anything like this or even any opinions would be great. I called the PS and she said it may be her scar stretching but usually there are no major problems w/the metopic cranio.(because it is a single suture) Please anything to help ease my worry......

Dillon did the same thing (but grabbed the back of his head) for the longest time. He even went through a preiod where he would bang his head on the floor or walls! Scared the poo out of me, but we were assured it was normal, as long as there are no other signes of problems. Does Maggie have a plate over there? Dillon had a tendancy to grab where the plates were a lot. I bet everything is fine, but it couldn't hurt to call the PS or NS back and ask them to see her for peace of mind :hugg

How did the appointment with the ped go? Sorry I am seeing this late. Sylvie does the same sort of thing. She loves to wear soft hats on her head and does not like anyone to mess with her head or hair. It is torture to have her allow me to put in ponies or barrettes. She leave them in once they are there but fights like mad. (I'm sure part of that is being 2) It just seems she is careful when it comes to her head. We've never really emphasized it either. Hmmm.....
